Local Runners Take Top Honors in 31st Annual Montclair Run
YMCA of Montclair event was held last Sunday to raise money for local recreation programs.
Congratulations to the top finishers in Sunday's 31st annual Montclair Run.
Nearly 600 runners took part in the yearly 10K sponsored by the YMCA of Montclair and the Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
Edwin Ponchi and Ingrid Wells, from Newark and Upper Montclair, were, respectively, the first man and woman to cross the finish line in the race, which raises funds to support community scholarships.

The weekend event also included a 2 mile-long fun walk/run. Prizes were awarded to participants in this just-for-fun promenade.
