MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man exposed his genitals to a woman as she was walking in Montclair last week, authorities said Tuesday.

The Montclair Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which took place on June 9:

“The victim reported that she was walking north on Wilde Place, when she observed an unknown male emerge from a bush and walk towards her. The male was holding a shirt in his hands, and as he approached her, he moved the shirt, exposing his penis. The victim stated that she continued walking towards Union Street and never looked back to see where the suspect went.”

The woman said the man was about 50-years-old, 5 feet 4 inches and Hispanic, with a short haircut/fade. He had “old acne scars” and was wearing a bright blue shirt with white writing on the back, and khaki dark beige pants. He didn’t have any facial hair, glasses or tattoos.
