MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man flashed a woman who was working at a local convenience store in Montclair last week, pulling down his pants to expose himself and then running away, authorities announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the “indecent exposure” incident, which took place on Sept. 11 on Harrison Avenue:
“The victim reported that an unknown male exposed himself to her while she was working inside of Campy’s Corner. She added that she was working behind the counter when a male walked into the store. Once the male entered the store, he pulled up his shirt and pulled down his pants to expose himself. After he exposed himself, the male fled the store traveling north on Harrison Avenue.”
Police said the suspect was a man between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet 1 inch, with “dreadlock” style hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.
