The Montclair Public Library’s photography and art exhibits series continues with "Masai Warriors," a collaboration between Linda Hartman, an art sculpture teacher at Glen Rock High School, and her 9-12 grade students. The exhibit will be on view in the Montclair Public Library glass cases on the first floor, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, during library hours from January 2 through January 30, 2018.
Hartman is a resident of Montclair and a media specialist at Glen Rock High School. Her inspiration for the project was a trip Hartman took to Tanzania and a day and night she spent at a Masai village. As a guest in their village, she observed a typical day, attended a kindergarten-level class and talked with them about the Masai life and culture.
