MC Hotel In Montclair Gets $26.5M Loan, Report Says

The 150-room Montclair hotel is slated to open in the third quarter of 2017.

Montclair, NJ – The MC Hotel in Montclair is the recipient of a $26.5 million loan from PMZ Realty Capital, a national real estate banking firm, according to a release.

The 150-room hotel, which is slated to open in the third quarter of 2017, will feature 7,500 square feet of office space, a farm-to-table restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby and outdoor plaza, REBusinessOnline.com reported on Thursday.

The hotel will be part of the Autograph Collection, Marriott International’s exclusive portfolio of independent hotels.

The Montclair Township Council has been considering offering a payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreement to the developers of the MC Hotel, The Pinnacle Companies.
