Men Yank Duffel Bag From Pedestrian In Montclair: Police
A pair of suspects in a sedan stole a duffel bag from a pedestrian in Montclair during a grab-and-go robbery, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of suspects in a sedan stole a duffel bag from a pedestrian in Montclair during a grab-and-go robbery last week, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the theft took place on Aug. 29 when the victim was walking east on Glenridge Avenue in the area of Baldwin Street.
The victim told officers that a white sedan with New Jersey license plates pulled alongside him and a man got out of the front passenger seat. The man grabbed his rolling duffel bag and got back into the car, which fled east on Glenridge Avenue.

The bag contained clothing and a laptop computer, police said.
The victim described the man who robbed him as a black male of an unknown age, with short, black hair and a short, black beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored, zip-up shirt and blue jeans.

The victim wasn’t able to provide a description of the driver, police said.
