MHS Girls Soccer Players Sign Letters Of Intent
Girls have played soccer together since they were 7

Montclair High School seniors Erica Joab, Kara Maguire, and Maya Pitts have signed their NCAA National Letters of Intent to play Division 1 soccer.
Joab will be attending the University of Maryland, while Maguire will be attending Iona College and Pitts will be attending Syracuse University.
At the signing, the girls thanked their parents for the many years of support, which included driving and flying them wherever they needed to be for Club Soccer.

All three girls expressed how much each of them means to each other and how how they will be friends for life. The girls have all played soccer together in some form or another since they were 7 years old.
MHS Soccer Coach Chris Johnson praised the girls for their leadership on and off the field and for their academic achievements while also thanking them for four great years of soccer, especially this last year which saw the team achieve the best record in the history of the girls soccer program, 22-1-1. The team also won the 2012 Essex County Championship, the Super Essex Conference American Division Championship, and the North 1 Group 4 Sectional Championship.

MHS Athletic Director John Porcelli thanked the girls for being such great role models for MHS, noting how the parents of the freshmen members of the team had made a point of telling him what great mentors all three girls had been.
