Montclair 2024 Election: Candidate Forum, Voter Registration Deadline
Montclair will see some major turnover on its township council this year. A candidate forum is scheduled for April 25.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair’s 2024 municipal election on May 14 is getting closer, and local voters who are trying to learn more about the candidates might want to pencil an upcoming public forum into their calendars.
The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area with the Montclair Local, Aging in Montclair, Latinos of Montclair, AAPI Montclair and the Montclair NAACP will hold an in-person candidates forum at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 at Charles H. Bullock School, 55 Washington Street.
All of the candidates who are running for office this year in Montclair are scheduled to attend the event, organizers said.

No pre- registration is required, but attendees should arrive a few minutes early, organizers noted.
Montclair’s nonpartisan municipal election will take place on Tuesday, May 14. In total, seven seats will be up for grabs: mayor, two at-large council members, and a council member in each of the four wards. See Related: Montclair Town Council Will See Big Turnover In 2024 Election
