Montclair Board Of Education Candidate Withdraws From Race: Report

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A candidate in the 2026 board of education election in Montclair has withdrawn from the race, a report says.

Brandie Bookhart said she is withdrawing as a candidate because of increased work obligations and a less predictable schedule, Montclair Local reported.

There are three seats available on the Montclair Board of Education. In addition to Bookhart, the other candidates appearing on the ballot are: David Moon, Richard Reynics, Corey Pierson, George Simpson, Andrew Gideon, and Ayelet Haran.
