The Township of Montclair sent two full truckloads containing hundreds of pounds of supplies for hurricane relief efforts.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Township of Montclair sent two full truckloads containing hundreds of pounds of supplies last Friday to a hurricane relief collection location in Newark, officials stated.
In addition, Councilor-at-Large Robert Russo brought donations from Montclair to a Red Cross fundraising event over the weekend. The supplies will be shipped to Puerto Rico as part of a relief effort to assist those affected by Hurricane Maria, officials said.
The Montclair community donated diapers, baby food, flashlights, batteries, first aid supplies and feminine hygiene products during the townshipwide collection drive last week.
