Montclair Coronavirus Update: 13 Deaths, 79 Cases
There were 79 cases of COVID-19 in Montclair as of Monday evening. Town officials say 13 people have died from the disease.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — There are 79 cases of the new coronavirus in Montclair as of Monday evening, township officials say.
According to Montclair officials, the local death toll has risen to 13 people. Nine of the fatalities were from long-term care facilities.
The township Health Department reports that as of today, the confirmed number of COVID-19 cases in Montclair is 79; 13 individuals did not survive the illness, nine were from long-term care facilities.

As of Monday afternoon, New Jersey had a total of 16,636 cases and 198 deaths linked to COVID-19, according to the state health department.
