The Montclair Crew: MHS Rowers Will Represent USA In Netherlands Competition

Three Montclair High School alumni will be representing the USA at the 2016 World Rowing Championships in the Netherlands.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — They will soon be row, row, rowing their boats in the Netherlands.

Three Montclair High School alumni will be representing the USA at the 2016 World Rowing Championships to be held from August 21 to 28 at the Willem-Alexanderbaan Rowing Regatta Venue in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

On Monday, USRowing announced the 84-person roster for the 2016 Under 23 and Senior National Teams, which include athletes from 21 states, England and France. The eight-day competition will feature U.S. crews partaking in 20, under-23 events.

Montclair will be represented by Nate Goodman and Justin Murphy in the Men's 8+, and Reid Cucci in the Lightweight Men's 4X, according to a Montclair High School Crew social media post.
