Montclair Developer's Son Partners With Doc To Launch Clinic

The son of a prominent real estate developer in Montclair is partnering with a physical therapist to launch a clinic at Lackawanna Plaza.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The son of a prominent real estate developer in Montclair is partnering with a physical therapist to launch a new clinic at Lackawanna Plaza.

Adapt Physical Therapy – which will open its doors this month – is owned by Montclair residents Cody Plofker and Payal Patel. (Learn more about this local business)

Plofker is the son of real estate developer Steven Plofker and cosmetics mogul Bobbi Brown. Patel is a practicing physical therapist who has worked with clients that include professional athletes and emergency responders.

Plofker and Patel said they decided to launch their own company after working and living in Montclair for several years.

A grand opening party with giveaways, refreshments and entertainment is planned from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 8 Lackawanna Plaza in Montclair. The event is open to the public. To register or for more information, call (973) 319-4015.
