Montclair Dog Lost in Storm: Found an Hour Later

Is social media making it easier to reunite lost pets with their guardians?

On Monday morning, the Montclair Animal Shelter posted an alert on Facebook about a shih tzu named Bnakti who went missing during Sunday’s storm, which caused flood and storm damage throughout Essex County.

The post was made at about 8:45 a.m.

The dog’s owner was located within an hour, the shelter reported.
