In Montclair: DWI Hit And Run / Fraudulent Bank Account / Graffiti On Park Lane / Attempted Burglary / Tool Theft
Police Blotter: Sept. 8 to 14

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Montclair police blotter, a listing of selected incidents that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
9-8-2015 (Lloyd Road) - Gregory Jamiolkowski, 24yoa from Livingston, was arrested for DWI after a hit and run accident. No injuries reported.

9-8-2015 (Grove Street) - Kenneth Boddie, 54yoa from Montclair, was arrested for open warrants out of Montclair ($300), Paterson ($1,000) and Totowa ($2,620)
9-9-2015 (Bay Street Train Station) - Theft of a bicycle, which had been chained to a railing on the first floor of the deck.

9-9-2015 (Mid-Park Lane) - Multiple incidents of graffiti were reported on the fences running the length of Mid-Park Lane.
9-10-2015 (Cloverhill Place) - An attempted burglary was reported. The actor(s) attempted to gain entry to a residence by kicking in the front door. The door held and entry was not gained. Nobody was home at the time if the incident.
9-10-2015 (Harrison Avenue) - Theft of tools from a work truck. Access was gained by smashing a passenger window. The vehicle was parked on a site under construction.
9-11-2015 (605 Valley Road, Capital One Bank) - Three actors were arrested and charged with Fraud and Receiving Stolen Property for attempting to open a fraudulent bank account using stolen documents. They were later identified as Syid Boyd (20yoa from Maplewood), Aquil Ingram (22yoa from Newark), and Tyler McDonald (19yoa from East Orange).
9-11-2015 (Mission Street) - Tyrone G. Wesley, 19yoa from Montclair, was arrested on an open warrant out of Bloomfield ($5,000).
9-11-2015 (Highland Avenue) - Theft from a motor vehicle. An iPod and loose change was taken. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
9-11-2015 (Mulford lane) - Theft from a motor vehicle. Sunglasses and a wallet were taken.
9-12-2015 (Watchung Train Station) - Theft of a bicycle and lock from the bike rack at Watchung Train Station.
9-14-2015 (7-11, Bloomfield Avenue) - Theft of 10 packs of cigarettes. The suspect is described as a male, 40yoa, 6’ in height, with a light beard.
