“Lacordaire is a wholesome, age-appropriate community where each stage of childhood is celebrated, not rushed,” says Kelly Reilly McCarthy, the school’s marketing director. “Students will develop essential life skills like confidence, resilience, moral character, and the ability to think critically in classrooms that are safe and intellectually nourishing.”
Lacordaire’s classes range in size from 12 to no more than 19 students in order to deliver a personalized, challenging curriculum. Students are involved in activities such as forensic and debate, Math Honor Society, visual and performing arts programs, along with an array of other clubs, organizations, and sports teams. The Academy also boasts three brand new, state of the art science labs.
All of Lacordaire’s Middle and Upper Division graduates are accepted into at least one of their top 3 high school and/or college choices. Currently experiencing high enrollment, a school year at Lacordaire offers students and families a robust schedule of events, celebrations, and galas, domestic and international travel opportunities, and an active Parent Association.
For prospective families who are unable to attend the open house, or who prefer a more intimate setting, the Lacordaire admissions office schedules private and small group tours by appointment. Interested families should contact Saydi Callahan Keefe, director of admissions, at admissions@lacordaire.net to plan their visit.
