A Montclair family returned home to find their house burglarized, with broken glass and blood on the floor, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair family returned home to find their house burglarized last week, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a Christopher Street resident reported that he and his family were out of their house for a few hours on the evening of Aug. 16. When they returned home, they found their home burglarized, and broken glass and droplets of blood on the floor.
Montclair police said it appears that entry was made by force through a side door.

The only missing item in the home appears to be $100 in cash, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
