Montclair Film To Hold Outdoor Movie Screenings For Summer 2023

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A free outdoor summer movie series is returning to Montclair for 2023.
Montclair Film will hold its 14th annual Movie Night Under the Stars on three dates this year: July 16, Aug. 6 and Aug. 26. All venues open at 7 p.m., and films begin at sundown. Learn more here.
“Come early, bring a picnic and lawn chairs and enjoy the show,” the nonprofit says on its website.

This year’s movies are:
- Sunday, July 16 – "Top Gun: Maverick" (Lackawanna Plaza, near Crane Park)
- Sunday, Aug. 6 – "The Goonies" (Essex County Anderson Park)
- Saturday, Aug. 26 – "Encanto" (Essex County Brookdale Park, archery field)
