Montclair Fire Department Investigates Small, 'Suspicious' Fire On Wheeler Street
The "suspicious" flames were seen at a multi-story home on Wheeler Street on Thursday morning, according to the Montclair Fire Department.
The Montclair Fire Department is investigating a “suspicious” fire that took place at a multi-story home on Wheeler Street on Thursday morning.
Montclair Fire Chief John Herrmann told Patch that a neighbor reported they saw smoke coming from the top floor of the building.
“The MFD extinguished a very small fire that was in the flooring and did some overhaul around the area of origin,” Herrmann said.
