Montclair Fire Department, Local Church, Launch 2023 Coat Drive

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of the Montclair Fire Department. Find out how to post announcements or events to your local Patch site.

The Montclair Fire Department and the Episcopal Church of Saint James are hosting their annual coat drive, running October 31 through November 15. This long-standing partnership collects coats to distribute to those in need in the community and surrounding areas just in time for winter.

Donated coats may be dropped off at Fire Headquarters, 1 Pine Street or Station # 2, 588 Valley Road or at the Episcopal Church of Saint James at 581 Valley Road just outside their preschool entrance.

This coat drive collaboration has been in place for 10 years and has benefited local community aid organizations, soup kitchens, places of worship and other outreach programs.
