Montclair First Responders Rescue Dog From Ledge On Halloween

Montclair emergency responders took a moment out of their normal patrols to rescue a trapped dog on Halloween.

Responding to a report of a dog trapped on a ledge in Mills Reservation, a Montclair police officer managed to climb up and hold the dog so that it wouldn’t fall the rest of the way down the cliff.

Shortly afterwards, Montclair firefighters arrived on the scene and helped to lower the dog to safety, police said.
