The Montclair Foundation (TMF) has awarded $10,000 from its emergency fund to the Human Needs Food Pantry to address key areas of food supplies to homebound clients. This fund was created to get resources quickly to nonprofit organizations serving Montclair area residents, particularly those individuals most disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Human Needs Food Pantry posted on social media on Friday that they would be re-opening on Tuesday, April 7. When the TMF Grants committee received this information they responded immediately and awarded this $10,000 grant from the emergency fund. These funds will enable them to secure the resources they need to serve the most vulnerable members of the community during this difficult time.
