Montclair Fundraisers ‘Skate For Syria’ At Clary Anderson Arena

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Participants in the Islamic Relief USA's annual "Skate for Syria event" recently helped to fundraise for “displaced” people in Syria.

The fundraiser was held on March 23 at Clary Anderson Arena on Chestnunt Street in Montclair. According to a news release from organizers, funds will help provide humanitarian aid to people who have been “displaced,” among other conditions, in the war-torn Middle Eastern nation.

Islamic Relief USA is a nonprofit humanitarian and advocacy organization that works in more than 40 countries. It has offices and a warehouse in New Jersey.
