Montclair High To Present 'Rent' in May

Musical will feature all-student actors, crew and band.

Montclair High’s School of Visual and Performing Arts will present a performance of the well-known musical “Rent,” which will feature a cast of 35 student actors and an all-student pit band and crew.

The musical is directed by Brenda Pepper, with assistance from musical director Ken Horn and technical director Kenneth Cleerdin.

According to a release, the show contains mature content and may not be suitable for all ages.

Performances will take place at The Little Theater at Montclair High School, 141 Park St., at 7:30 p.m. on May 1, 2, 8 and 9, and at 3 p.m. on May 3 and 10.

Tickets will go on sale online on April 10.
