Montclair High School Evacuated On Friday: No Gas Leak Found, PSEG Says
No gas readings were found at the Montclair school, a PSEG spokeswoman said.

PSE&G workers found no gas readings at Montclair High School after authorities evacuated students from the main campus on Friday morning, a spokesperson said.
School officials led students to Woodman Field around 9 a.m. due to a possible gas leak near the corner of Midland Avenue and Chestnut Street, and were let back into the building around 10:30 a.m., TAP Into Montclair reported.
According to Montclair Fire Chief John Herrmann, Engine # 1 and Truck # 1 responded to the high school for a reported gas odor in the home economics room and an odor on the 3rd floor.
