Montclair High School Has New, Interim Principal
Terry Trigg-Scales, who served as principal in 2018, has 38 years' experience in the Montclair school system.
MONTCLAIR, NJ – Montclair High School has a new, interim principal, and she's a familiar face to many, officials recently announced.
According to Superintendent Jonathan Ponds, Terry Trigg-Scales has agreed to serve the district once again as its interim high school principal.
Scales recently held the same role in 2018. She has more than 38 years’ experience in the local school system, and rose through the ranks serving as teacher, assistant principal, principal, director of curriculum and finally as assistant superintendent for the Department of Instruction until her retirement.

She currently sits on the Board of Education in West Orange, is an educational consultant and a member of several county organizations.
