Montclair High School Sees ‘Unsubstantiated’ Threat, Officials Say
A police investigation continues into a potential threat made to Montclair High School, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A police investigation continues into a potential threat made to Montclair High School on Monday morning, which has been deemed “unsubstantiated,” authorities say.
According to a social media post from township officials:
“[The Montclair Police Department] was advised of a potential threat to Montclair High School early this morning. An investigation commenced immediately and deemed [the threat] unsubstantiated prior to the start of the school day. The investigation is ongoing to properly address the situation in its entirety.”
"At this time, there is no threat to our students, faculty or staff," police said.
