MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair’s Pine Street neighborhood has a rich history of historical and cultural highlights, and the Montclair History Center (MHC) wants to share it with the township.
On Saturday, June 17 at 10 a.m., MHC Board of Trustee members Donato DiGeronimo and Helen Fallon will lead a tour will address the history of Montclair and the historic Pine Street/Glenridge Avenue/Bay Street Neighborhood.
The tour will focus on the neighborhood history from the mid-1800s to more recent times, with a primary focus on the Italian immigrant experience in the late 1800s/early 1900s, according to organizers.
