Montclair Home Burglarized; $60K Of Jewelry, Gold Coins Gone: PD
A resident who lives in the area reported there were unknown persons with flashlights inside the home, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair home was burglarized last week, with about $60,000 worth of belongings stolen, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the burglary took place on Oct. 21 on Heller Way.
Police learned about the burglary when a resident who lives in the area reported there were unknown persons with flashlights carrying items inside of the home.

The suspects fled the scene in a white BMW sedan with a partial New Jersey temporary registration of “V66311” before officers arrived, police said.
Entry to the home was gained by force through the front door of the residence, police stated.

According to the home’s residents, a large safe with about $60,000 worth of jewelry, gold coins and miscellaneous paperwork was stolen.
Police are investigating the burglary, authorities said.
