A Montclair homeowner may have scared away a would-be burglar, police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair homeowner may have scared away a would-be burglar earlier this month, police said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a Summit Avenue resident confronted a man in a grey-hooded sweatshirt during a burglary attempt on May 2. The alleged burglar fled the scene after being discovered, police said.
Nothing was reported stolen, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available.
