Montclair Homeowner Spots Alleged Burglar: Police

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair homeowner allegedly witnessed a burglary attempt at his under-construction home on North Mountain Avenue earlier this month, authorities say.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the homeowner told officers that he saw a man inside the residence, which is under construction. The man then fled on foot on North Mountain Avenue.

Nothing was reported missing from the residence, authorities stated.
