Montclair Ice Cream Stand To Hold Christmas Tree Lighting Event For 2016

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Applegate Farm Ice Cream in Montclair will host its first Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

According to a company news release, the free event will feature Christmas music with a live DJ and carolers, a live reindeer, live ice carving and the main event, a tree lighting. In addition, Santa will ride in on a tractor to light the tree and hold a photo session.

Applegate Farm will have apple cider donuts, homemade ice cream, hot cocoa and apple cider available for sale.

Applegate Farm will also host “Photos With Santa,” an in-store photo opportunity taking place on weekends from Dec. 3 to 18. The package will be available for purchase online at applegatefarm.com or in-store, and include a visit with Santa Claus, a choice of two 4x6 or one 8x10 photo and a $5 gift card to the store.
