Montclair Library Expands Open Hours At Bellevue Avenue Branch

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Expanded hours of service are coming to the Montclair Public Library’s Bellevue Avenue branch beginning Saturday.

The Montclair Public Library will offer extended hours at its Bellevue Avenue branch at 185 Bellevue Avenue starting July 6. The branch will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, and will stay open on Saturdays from 2 to 6 p.m. during the summer.

“Community feedback during our strategic planning process last year demonstrated the desire for more hours at the Branch,” Library Director Peter Coyl said. “We hope our users will find them convenient and the expansion of hours will help them use the branch.”

The new hours will be:

• Monday - 10 am to 8 pm
• Tuesday and Wednesday - 2 pm to 6 pm
• Thursday - 10 am to 8 pm
• Friday and Saturday - 2 pm to 6 pm
• Sunday - Closed
