The Montclair Public Library Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of four new directors to its board. Our new members bring diverse experience and backgrounds, ensuring that we are representing a wide swath of the community, and have the talents necessary to effectively raise funds and advocate for our library.

The announcement caps another banner year for the foundation, marked by a $193,000 annual appeal, Montclair’s full funding of the library board’s proposed budget, and the wildly successful inaugural Lit Gala, which raised an additional $199,000 in gross revenue. In 2023-24, the foundation board looks to increase individual and institutional fundraising, while advocating for municipal support sufficient to maintain and expand the library’s role as a centerpiece of the Montclair community.
