Montclair Man Accused Of Stabbing Father To Death
A Montclair man has been charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed his father, a Woodland Park resident, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair man has been charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed his father to death Tuesday night, authorities said.
Police arrested Josiah Correa, 24, of Montclair, at the apartment he shared with his mother on the 300-block of Orange Road in Montclair, according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Montclair Police Department.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Correa’s father, Jose Correa, 51, of Woodland Park, suffered multiple stab wounds during the encounter. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:16 p.m., prosecutors said.

Correa was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
