Montclair Man Allegedly Exposed Himself On Church Street, Resisted Arrest

He was allegedly seen putting his hands in his pants and exposing himself, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Police arrested a Montclair resident after he allegedly exposed himself on Church Street and resisted officers last week, authorities say.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the incident took place on Sept. 30 when a man was seen putting his hands in his pants and exposing himself.

He was charged with lewdness and criminal mischief, authorities said.

The man – later identified as Michael Veltri, 43, of Montclair – allegedly resisted officers’ attempts to arrest him. He was also charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest, police said.
