Montclair Man Arrested After Fight On Mission Street

An altercation between two people on Mission Street resulted in a Montclair man’s arrest on Monday.

Police arrested Lamar Brown, 21, of Montclair, after responding to the scene of a dispute between him and another person, according to Montclair Detective Sgt. James Milano.

The victim suffered a minor injury during the encounter, Milano told Patch.

Milano said that there was a weapon involved in the incident, but he declined to comment further, citing an ongoing investigation.

Police charged Brown with assault, criminal mischief and possession of a weapon.
