Montclair Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Domestic Violence Stabbing: Cops
Montclair police charged a local man with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a 46-year-old woman several times with a knife.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police charged a local man with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a 46-year-old woman several times with a knife during a domestic violence incident on Monday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to a Montclair home around 11 a.m. after receiving a report about a possible stabbing. Once on the scene, officers were notified that the victim had already arrived at a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police released the following statement about the stabbing on Tuesday afternoon:

“The victim, a 46-year-old Montclair female, was stabbed numerous times with a knife, by a 40-year-old Montclair man in a domestic violence incident. The victim is stable at this time. The male suspect was arrested and charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses. This incident is under investigation.”
No further information can be released at this time, Montclair police stated Tuesday.
