Montclair, NJ – Montclair police revived an overdosing narcotics user on Pine Street last weekend, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers on patrol in the area on Saturday noticed a group of people attending to an unresponsive man.
The officers determined that the man was under the influence of narcotics and was experiencing an overdose, police stated.

After officers administered Naloxone – an overdose treatment often sold under the brand name Narcan – the victim regained consciousness, police stated.
Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital for further treatment, police said.
