Montclair Music: Pat Benatar And Husband To Get Intimate At The Wellmont Theater

The two will arrive for an "intimate acoustic" evening on Oct. 15 in Montclair.

When four-time Grammy Award winner Pat Benatar comes to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair on Oct. 15, things are likely to get intimate.

That’s because on Oct. 15, Benatar will arrive at the Wellmont with her husband at her side for “A Very Intimate Acoustic Evening with Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo.”

The singer - known for hits such as “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Love Is a Battlefield” and “We Belong” – tied the knot with Giraldo in 1982.

Benatar’s nickname for her husband? “The Big Kahuna.”

“Pat isn’t the only one attracting attention when they’re on stage,” their online biography states. “While performing, girls of all ages can’t help but swoon just a bit. And when that shirt comes off revealing the white tank top and muscular arms, watch out… Neil is like a fine wine. He only gets better with age.”

Doors open at 7 p.m.; the show starts at 8 p.m.
