Montclair Native Will Be Contestant On New Comedy Series: New York's Funniest

Montclair native Sara Armour will appear on screen alongside Saturday Night Live actors Michael Che and Leslie Jones.

Montclair, NJ – A Montclair native is slated to be a contestant in the new series, "New York's Funniest," premiering March 17 on Seeso.

Sara Armour, a Montclair native currently living in New York City, will appear on the new show - set at the famed Carolines on Broadway – which is hosted by Saturday Night Live actors Michael Che and Leslie Jones.

According to a news release, in 2015, Armour competed on Season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing, headlined Caroline's on Broadway as part of their Breakout Artist Series, showcased in the New York Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in Comedy Central's New York's Funniest Stand-up Competition.

She is a featured storyteller in October’s Edition of “Hot Mic,” Dan Savage’s podcast, published by Rooftop Comedy and distributed by Audible.com. Since 2013, Armour has been traveling nationally as part of the “Betches of Comedy” live comedy tours sponsored by betcheslovethis.com.
