Montclair resident Anne Moore passed away on Nov. 27.
She was 76-years-old.

“Anne I.L. Moore, 76, of Montclair, died peacefully at home on November 27th.
“Anne was born in Edinburgh, Scotland where she resided until 1981 when she and her family moved to Montclair. She graduated with an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh and then taught for several years in Edinburgh city schools. Upon moving to Montclair Anne taught English literature at Montclair Kimberley Academy Upper School.

“Anne is survived by her husband John S. Moore, her children David, Andrew and Elizabeth, her daughters-in-law Clare and Ana, her son-in-law Patrick and her brother John Brown of Perth, Australia. She was the beloved grandmother of Daniel, Anna, John, Billy, Bobby, William and Charlie.
“In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Anne’s favorite charities which included SmileTrain, Habitat for Humanity, and Save the Children.”
