“Mrs. Lewis was a vibrant member of the Montclair area, working as a successful Realtor for over thirty years, most recently with Sotheby’s International Realty. She was also active in the Episcopal Church of St. James in Upper Montclair, where she helped found the Junior Guild of Women. She was recently honored by the Diocese of Newark with the David C. Hegg Lifetime Achievement Award for her many years of service to the church.
“Mrs. Lewis is survived by her beloved husband, Walter, to whom she was married for fifty-one years; their three children, Elisabeth (Miller), Mark and Andrew; and their spouses, C.J. Miller, Christine and Tara; and ten grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was vacationing with the entire family on Martha’s Vineyard and other locations.
“In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Church or to the St. Barnabas Cancer Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039; where Mrs. Lewis served as a volunteer for several years.”
