First Ward Councilor Bill Hurlock will host a community meeting Thursday, December 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bellevue Avenue branch of the Montclair Public Library, 185 Bellevue Avenue. The councilor invited township Public Works Superintendent Rob Bianco to talk about the nearly $600K in improvements to the Mountainside Park baseball fields, recently approved by council.

"This was a project long in the making, taking a number of years of meetings with engineers, landscape project developers, Department of Community Services representatives, members of the community, and others," said Hurlock. "I'm pleased to have spearheaded the effort and look forward to offering this presentation to the community.”
