Montclair Police Arrest 2 Teens Found In Stolen Car

Montclair police on patrol apprehended two teens in a stolen car, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police apprehended two teens found in a stolen car last week, authorities said Tuesday.

According to the Montclair Police Department, officers on patrol near Pine Street and Glenridge Avenue on Aug. 25 saw a Subaru Legacy that was reported stolen out of Newark.

Officers stopped the vehicle – which had two people inside – at Maple Street and Elmwood Avenue, authorities said.

Police arrested the two occupants of the car, both 16-year-old males from Newark, and charged them with receiving stolen property.
