Montclair Police Blotter: Oct. 14 to 26

All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

10-14-2015 (Washington Street) - Theft of a bicycle from the front porch of a residence.

10-22-2015 (Nishuane Road) - Vandalism to a vehicle. The rear windshield wiper was broken off a vehicle parked in a residential driveway.

10-23-2015 (Willowdale Avenue) - Burglary to a residential garage. A bicycle was taken in this incident.

10-25-2015 (Orange Road) - Verona Police pursued a motor vehicle into Montclair, which crashed into a light pole at Bloomfield Avenue and South Mountain Avenue. The actors then abandoned the vehicle, a tan Chevy Malibu, on Orange road near Myrtle Avenue. These suspects fled the area on foot.

10-26-2015 (Orange Road) - Kitchen fire in a residence. The fire was contained to the oven, causing a smoke condition.
