Montclair Police Donate Bulletproof Vests To Workers In Ukraine
The Montclair Police Department donated dozens of bulletproof vests to volunteer medical workers in Ukraine.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Police Department recently donated dozens of bulletproof vests to volunteer medical workers in Ukraine.
According to the MPD, the 55 retired bulletproof vests were donated to an organization known as Instytut Ratownictwa Medycznego (The Institute for Emergency Medicine) and Medycyna Praktyczna (Medicine in Practice).
Medycyna Praktyczna together with the IRM are providing medical supplies for hospitals and rescue teams operating in areas affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“These organizations create targeted shipments to individual hospitals with sets of surgical instruments, equipment and consumables,” the Montclair Police Department said. “They have a network of trusted drivers who deliver to hot spots in Ukraine.”
