Montclair Police Foil Local Man’s Car Theft Attempt: Authorities
Montclair police arrested a local man after he allegedly tried to steal a vehicle on Miller Street, authorities say.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police arrested a local man after he allegedly tried to steal a vehicle on Miller Street last week, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers allegedly discovered Michael Emanuel, 24, of Montclair, trying to steal a motor vehicle on Aug. 14. Emanuel then led officers on a short foot chase before being apprehended.
Authorities charged Emanuel with burglary, theft and resisting arrest.
