Montclair Police: Township Sees 5 Stolen Cars In 6 Day-Span
The keys may have been left in the unlocked vehicle prior to the latest theft, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone stole a car from a Montclair resident’s driveway last week, the township’s fifth stolen vehicle in six days, authorities said.
A Norman Road resident told the Montclair Police Department that her vehicle was stolen from her driveway on Thursday. The keys may have been left in the unlocked vehicle prior to the theft, she said.

- May 30 (Valley Road) – "The complainant reports that her 2015 Mercedes Benz ML 256 wagon was stolen."
- May 30 (Park Street) – "The complainant reports that his 2011 Mercedes Benz C30 was stolen."
- June 1 (Harrison Avenue) – "The complainant reports that his 2018 Mazda CRX was stolen. The keys may have been left in the vehicle prior to the theft."
- June 1 (Cross Street) – "The complainant reports that his 2007 Honda CR-V was stolen. The keys were left in the unlocked vehicle prior to the theft."
