Montclair, NJ – The Montclair Police Department will take part in National Night Out on Tuesday August 2.
According to police, the event offers a way for community members to spend a safe evening with emergency personnel from their communities. Citizens get an opportunity to speak one-on-one with law enforcement officers and other emergency responders from their own cities and towns. Children also get to examine first responder equipment.
For 2016, the Montclair Police Department will hold National Night Out on South Park Street, “closing off the roadway and creating a safe environment for all who come out,” police stated.
